We LOVE the Estorick Collection

Last month we headed over to the Estorick Collection on a cold, rainy day - and boy did it brighten up our day!

The staff at the Estorick Collection kindly opened up just for Artbox, treating us to a tour of the galleries, which bring together some of the finest and most important works created by Italian artists during the first half of the twentieth century.

After seeing the art, the artists sat down to take part in an art workshop. A variety of music, from Classical to Jazz, was played while the artists responded to the sounds with drawings in crayon, wax and paint.

The only problem with this trip was having to leave! After watching and listening to the rain fall onto the beautiful conservatory, we had to make our back out into the rain. However, there were smiles all round and 100% of the artists said they were happy they made the effort to get out and see new things.

We can’t wait to go back!
