A Wild Window at House of Illustration
Last week we headed over to House of Illustration in Kings Cross, the closest gallery to our studio.
We usually visit galleries in the daytime but this trip was different. Once the final visitors left the gallery and the doors were locked, Artbox volunteers, Qi and James got out the paints and copied four of the Artbox artists’ designs on the huge windows, creating a colourful and fun window display that will be looked upon by the thousands of visitors to the Kings Cross area.
Bobbi’s plants, Helen and Lee’s birds and Hisba’s flowers can all now be seen on the window and Abbie’s handmade watercolour origami butterflies hang on the inside in the shop. House of Illustration will also be including some of the Artbox products in their shop!
So head on over to 2 Granary Square in the Kings Cross area to pay a visit to the most wonderful window in town!
