About the event

A new friend of Artbox, Catherine Ling, has kindly organised a Fundraising Walk for us on Sunday 25th June. The group will be meeting at 11:30 am at the South Entrance to Broomfield Park in Palmers Green and walking 5km around the park.

Catherine is leading this fundraising effort to help support the costs of running Artbox London’s programme of art workshops, exhibitions and trips for artists with learning disabilities and autism. All of our work aims to improve the wellbeing and inclusion of adults with learning disabilities and autism, while also raising the profile of their artwork in the art world. About Catherine

Catherine started volunteering for various charities about 25 years ago, including with North London Hospice, The London School for Cerebal Palsey, Haringey Shed and Action for Kids, for whom Catherine was an Ambassador for fundraising and promoting awareness for many years. Catherine is now concentrating on helping smaller charities by fundraising and promoting awareness in her community.
