Oil pastel scratching

Step 1:

Get a smooth piece of paper. Colour the whole page in a light coloured oil pastel.

Step 2:

Then colour on top with a dark coloured oil pastel, such as black or dark blue.

Step 3:

Cover the whole page in black.

Step 4:

Using a nail or palette knife, draw the picture onto the paper by scraping off the oil pastel
