Andreas

Inspired by films and the characters in films, Andreas loves to make costumes and embody the characters through his impressions, and he uses films to help him communicate with other artists and the tutors at Artbox. Andreas will often embody the characters in his favourite films and temporarily gain special powers as the character, an activity which sparks real joy for him. He is a walking encyclopaedia of Disney movies and shows.

Andreas loves the sense of achievement he feels when he has finished a piece, especially because creating the artworks allows him to interact with other people and the world around him. Andreas is an artist who relishes in creativity and makes his artworks solely for his own enjoyment. It is wonderful to see Andreas benefitting from the holistic benefits of art and being in a group setting - such as socialising with others, mindfulness, escapism, and a sense of achievement.
